I've downloaded a few plugins (from this list. Title, Installing Synth1 VST FOR MAC (Or ANY VST) 2017. Description, Hello everyone! Download Synth1 (Synth) Windows/VST - Mac/VST. “Synth1 is a software synthesizer. Functionally it is modelled on the Clavia Nord Lead 2 Red Synth. The fabulous free VST plugin Synth1 by Ichiro Toda would have to be in my top three favourite VST instrument plugins. It has been around since about 2001 and to this day is the number one free plugin on the KVR Audio plugin ranks. It doesn’t have the prettiest GUI, but the sounds that you can get out of it more than make up for its looks.

Synth 1 is said to be the best freebie Synthesizer out there, and I have to agree on this one. Packed with tons of sounds, Oscillators, Arpeggiators and effects. Let's just say it's enough to keep you going for a while. A fan of warm trance strings perhaps?

Synth1 is now (or has been for a while) a 64bit plug: But I've got a bad bug: unless the Synth1 arrangement track is selected, the timing of the playback is all messed up, sounds like tripletyish jumbled jerkiness.:/ Anyone can confirm? Got this all installed thanks. The vst file did not have an extension name, so all unamed files on a Mac convert to Unix Executable. I simply renamed the Synth1 file as Synth1.vst before installing and it loaded up fine.

I too an getting the jerkyness when playing back as midi file. The notes are all right on the beat, but the odd ones jerk ever so slightly.vst don't work with Logic, are you using this through a vst bridge or something? Also, which version of the plugin are you running? The 'provider' should be Lennar Digital, i'm not aware that you can buy Sylenth1 anywhere else?

Be careful you haven't bought an older dodgy/cracked version in error. 'synth1', not sylenth1 (very different synths). The OP may have installed the vst, but it's the AU that should be opening in logic (unless of course, he's using a bridge to run the vst).

Using the AU. It all loads fine. It's just the midi file playback that sounds slightly jerky, which suggest a timing issue processing the midi data.

I've been having a play with this also, great instrument by the way, and i've noticed that using the.zip preset banks seems to cause most issues. I don't know if that correlates with problems you are having? All seems fine, apart from playing back a midifile track of a bass line or lead line on a channel strip in Logic Pro X. The sounds seem to jerk slightly. I've tried randomly altering all the different elements of the synth, but it stilljerks. It's as if it's having very slight timing issues receiving midi note data from a DAW.
